This Month’s Spotlight Interview: Reia Grey

Each month, I interview an author or illustrator for a spotlight feature on my website. If you'd like to be featured, please submit your information through this contact form.

Reia Grey with Where's Mommy

July's Spotlight featured Reia Grey, a mother, wife, full-time working professional, and now, author. Her debut children's picture book, "Where’s Mommy?" follows a young Filipino-American boy discovering that his mother's love is never far away, even when she can't be by his side.

This Month’s Curated Booklists

Here are a couple curated booklists from my Amazon Storefront that might interest you!

We want our kids to learn Mandarin (my husband's native language), but my Mandarin skills (especially reading characters) are elementary at best. I love reading bilingual books with Pinyin to provide language exposure to my toddler and learn new words. I've put together a list of bilingual picture books, mostly in Mandarin, though some are in Cantonese. Explore the list.

Recently, I received a request from a follower to make a list of bilingual Vietnamese books. It's a small list right now, but I hope it will grow over time! Explore the list.

A Quiet Heart Keeps You Cool Giveaway

From July 9-16 I'm hosting a giveaway for Katie Tang's debut picture book, "A Quiet Heart Keeps You Cool", a charming tale that teaches children the value of inner peace and mindfulness, written in Cantonese, Jyutping, and English. Read my full review here.
